How do I get a lien release from my Honda?
This happened when I purchased my car. I got assurance from previous owner that the loan was paid off but lost the lien release. With this information, write a nicely worded request to the lienholder for a Release of Lien with as much information you can acquire. and hopefully the lienholder will send you a notorized letter with which you take the title and have the DMV reissue the title with no lien.
