How do I get FD released from a lien after the maturity of FD?
The bank will automatically renew the FD till the lien on the FD exists. If you want to get the FD released, then you will have to clear the loan taken from the bank in full. Once you do this, bank will release the FD from the lien and repay as per your instructions.
